Air Arabia (العربية للطيران) is a Low-Cost Carrier (LCC), based at Sharjah International Airport, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The airline is a member of the Arab Air Carriers organisation and was established on 3 February 2003 by an Amiri Decree, issued by the Ruler of Sharjah and members of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates. It was the first low-fare airline in the region. The airline started operations on 28 October 2003 with the first flight from Sharjah, UAE to Bahrain. The airline was profitable from the first year of being in business.

Air Arabia features as one of the cheapest airlines in the Middle East.

Checked Baggage

Air Arabia offers you the opportunity to only pay for the baggage you need. Infants under two years old are entitled to one standard-sized bag (for items an infant may require during the flight).
